I discovered Ashtanga yoga with Yann Le Boucher in Rennes in 2010, and became fascinated by this dynamic practice alongside meditation. Back in France after a year’s university exchange in New Delhi (India), I took my first classes at Ashtanga Yoga Paris (AYP) in 2014. In 2016-2017, in Pondicherry, I was introduced to different forms of yoga (hatha yoga, iyengar, ashram stays).

Back in Paris in 2018, I changed my career path and joined a professional dance training program in Paris (AID). I now practice ashtanga 3 times a week in addition to dance. Yoga protects me from injury, and teaches me to breathe and concentrate. In 2020, this practice was increased to 5 times a week, while working with modern/contemporary choreographer Thierry Verger, and then passing the Examen d’Aptitude Technique (EAT) in jazz dance.

I pass the Anatomy and Physiology exam in 2021 and continue my training as a dancer at the Flow dance Academy in Vincennes (hip-hop, house, funk).

In 2023, I join the 200-hour teacher training program at Ashtanga Yoga Paris and start giving ashtanga and vinyasa yoga classes. My vinyasa classes are inspired by dance and the encounters I’ve had with vinyasa teachers (Linda Munro, AYP teachers, Gerard Arnaud, Claire Saintard). At the same time, I’m preparing my State Diploma as a contemporary dance teacher (theory and pedagogy) and auditioning for dance companies.
