YOGA FOR THE BACK
Alleviating and Preventing Back Pain
This class consists of a soft but very efficient yoga practice, which will help to increase awareness of back posture in yoga and daily life. We will explore exercises for the spinal joints and muscles and learn to support the back.
The class is open to all ages and levels of physical ability, those with no experience in yoga or years of experience can benefit!
By continuing with this class, over the weeks and months, you gain an understanding of the sequence of postures helpful for back problems and will be able to continue practicing at home or in regular classes at the studio.
Each class will cover:
Improving the health of the all the spinal joints
Strengthening the muscles responsible for proper posture
Stretching the muscles which can cause back pain
Learning some control exercises
Saturdays from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
Wednesdays from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm (from September 5, 2018)
