Sumika Hirasawa

I started doing sport regularly about fifteen years ago. At the time, I felt the need to channel all the stress and pressure from my long days at the office.
Physical activity gave me strength, a taste for effort and self-confidence… it enabled me to endure the stress for years.

On my quest for well-being and balance, I came across yoga, which I started practicing in 2016.
Physical, mental and spiritual, yoga has taught me a lot and helped me to overcome difficult life events.

In 2023 I decided to concentrate on Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga. I was attracted by its structured, logical and at the same time very personal, subtle side. From then on, my practice became a daily routine.

In 2024, driven by the desire to share this discipline in a safe and serene environment, I took the Ashtanga Yoga Paris teacher training course with Linda Munro and Gerald Disse.

Today I’m delighted to be able to teach what I believe in so deeply, and I hope to be able to help bring positive energy and well-being to as many people as possible!
