Originally from Brittany, I discovered yoga in Montreal in 2019. My friend at the time was doing her teacher training, so my introduction to yoga was naturally to serve as her guinea pig… Then I took a liking to the practice and started going regularly to a studio.
One evening, the subject of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga came up. A dynamic yoga practice in the form of a series of postures each requiring more flexibility and strength than the others. I was amazed and spent the rest of the evening wondering about this yoga practice, which never left my mind. It was a few months later, during a trip to Mexico, that I experienced Ashtanga for the first time. Fascinated by the demands of the practice as well as its liberating power, I began to practice daily and became passionate about this method. Yoga has been a vehicle for beautiful life transitions and physical and emotional healing. Gradually, I became interested in the philosophy behind the practice and began an introspection that led me to study psychology.
Deciding to learn more about Ashtanga and taking advantage of a return to France in the summer of 2021, I decided to take the 200 hour teacher training with Gérald Disse and Linda Munro. This unforgettable experience only increased my passion for yoga and its transmission.
Back in Montreal in the fall of 2021, I had the chance to practice with experienced ashtangis like Mark Darby and David Robson. Now back in France to pursue my studies in psychology, I have the chance to continue my training with international teachers invited by the studio. I hope to be able to combine the study of the human psyche and yoga and their transmission for as long as possible and am extremely grateful to be able to do so today.
