I set foot for the first time in a yoga studio when living in Brussels in 2017. The choice of Ashtanga was made in a completely natural way, without really knowing the other styles of yoga, since I had heard that it was a rather dynamic discipline.
Since the age of 11, I practiced Thai boxing however following several persistent injuries I was forced to stop. I was therefore looking for a dynamic sport that respects my body and allows me to clear my mind and regain my balance.
I quickly became addicted to the feeling of well-being, lightness and deep relaxation that each session gave me. Each practice was a revelation: I began to look at my life with an outside eye and discovered meditation in motion. The most fun part for me was to rediscover movements from my childhood that my body had forgotten, such as bridge position, candle and happy baby. I had the impression of discovering my body and listening to its sensations for the first time.
After a few years of regular practice, I quickly realized that I could no longer do without my yoga mat and, after moving to Paris, I wanted to deepen my knowledge and master this discipline by participating in Linda & Gérald’s teacher training at Ashtanga Yoga Paris in 2021.
In 2022, I had the enormous opportunity to put these teachings into practice by giving yoga classes to members of the La Clairière social centre on behalf of the Connection Karma association.
I am very happy to continue to transmit my passion for yoga and to contribute to spreading serenity, well-being and happiness around me.
